10 on 10 (umm 12)

There's a new photo exercise making it's way around the web.  Take ten photos in one day and post them on the 10th of the month.  10 on 10.  Obviously I missed the first deadline but since I haven't picked up my camera since Christmas I thought it would be fun to give it a go.

Here's a little about my day:

My paper whites finally bloomed.

The sun came out and lit up the sugar pine cone on my dining room table like it was on fire, and for the few minutes it lasted, it was stunning.

This is how I was feeling, like a very strong rope, with a teeny bit of fraying.

I started taking a French class at the college in the next town over... I'm in over my  head but loving every second of it.

Cute grocery bags do make you happier, trust me (You almost don't want to kill the bagger for putting cans on top of your lettuce.  Almost.)

My son, the swimmer, lost his speedo.  He is expensive.

I have not lost my marbles.  They are all carefully arranged.

Spending a lot of time thinking about making food.  Making food makes me happy.

Ten year olds who will swim laps here without complaining when it's literally freezing outside really love swimming...

Love ending my day with a hot bath... even though bathtubs aren't that interesting to photograph.

  1. Wow, you are such a fantastic photographer. Love all your photos and captions, very cute! Good luck with the French. I need to get on the stick and study. Haven't done it at all this week. Have a great afternoon. I am lovin' the sun and I know you are, too! xo ~Liz

    1. I think the kids find the night time outdoor swimming equal parts of "ugh" and "pure awesomeness". It is very surreal ❈
