Property In Waiting (A Tour)

The last few days have been kind of a blur, our house was purged, cleaned, and reorganized just in time for the listing agent to take photos.  And by that I mean we were literally putting the brooms away when she was parking her car. I'll say one thing about my husband and I, we work well together under pressure.  But let's back up for a minute, we also had the inspection on the lake house (No concerning  issues, yay!).  I was busy cranking it out at home but I did manage to sneak over there for a few minutes and snap a little walking tour of the property. And by "few minutes", I literally mean, a few minutes, so it just a few pics to give you an idea why we fell for it hook, line, and sinker.  So in the above picture you see the main driveway coming into the property towards the detached garage.  The next door neighbor also has their own main drive, but when they get to the detached garages, the drives merge into a shared driveway directly in front of the garages. If you have to have a shared driveway, it's at least nice to have a main drive that is all your own.  Especially if it comes with a nice lawn!

I didn't get a photo of the garage, but it loads from the side.  It has a small shop space, then a two car garage, and on the other side a carport. So if you were going inside the house you would walk up a few steps to that deck there above and enter the front door at the far end.  We are going to walk down the path though, toward the water.

At the end of the path you come to a patio area (main floor deck above).  This patio sits in front of the "rec" room that runs across the whole front of the lower part of the house.

So, now we are walking down towards the water.  The lake is 33 acres and does not allow outboard motors.  It's apparently a great fishing lake.  While we were here the other day we saw someone in boat with a little electric motor, two kids in kayaks, and someone on an SUP board. The house sits on the narrow part of the lake but just around that fence it opens up to the larger part of the lake which goes around the corner to the right.

Now we've turned around and are looking back at the house, we are about 1/2 way down the lawn here. As you can see, even though the lot is a 1/2 acre, it's a narrow lot and has homes on both sides.

Just for reference you can see from the deck that you have a great view of the lake and don't really notice the neighbors.

Now we are walking back towards the carport (far building) via the other side of the house. There are cute little stone steps that bring you to

the lawn and garden area between the carport and the house. Yes, this house has three lawns! It's a good thing I know a boy who mows lawns, although I think he might ask for a raise.... This is the back side of the house (ladder is from the inspection).

And that brings us back to the main drive to the house.  Pretty isn't it?

Our house is supposed to go on the market tomorrow, which us luck!
